What will an NRS apprenticeship be like?
NRS currently have nearly 100 apprentices on programme, ranging from level 2 to level 6 apprenticeships in various disciplines – so you won’t be alone and will be joining a large network of industry apprentices.
We provide a comprehensive introduction to the industry with additional skills and knowledge training alongside your apprenticeship, as well as opportunities to attend industry events to shine a light on the work you, and your fellow apprentices, will be doing.
As an apprentice, you have a unique opportunity to learn on the job, with the professionals, while gaining your professional qualifications. You may also be able to work on different sites and in different departments, really learning about the industry, the business, and your own interests and abilities.
You will also have the opportunity to join the Nuclear Institute’s Young Generation Network, as well as other relevant professional bodies, which will open further opportunities to build your knowledge, network and career.
