Charity Events

Energus are proud to be able to host many charity events, working with charity groups to bring to life their perfect event to raise lots of money. We offer charity discounts to enable charities to use the facility at a fraction of the cost. Please contact the Events Team for more information.

We are happy to have hosted events with:
• Think Pink West Cumbria (film evenings and afternoon teas)
• Age UK West Cumbria (conferences and film evenings)
• Whitehaven Community (Trust Auction evening and dinner)
• Dyslexia West Cumbria (open day exhibition)
• Hospice at Home West Cumbria and West Cumbria Carers (Fashion Shows)
• West Cumbria Carers (Health and Wellbeing Event)

Our company charity for 2017/2018 was West Cumbria Carers and over the last year, we have been proud to donate and help this amazing charity with their fundraising events. Over £3,000 of meeting and event space was given to West Cumbria Carers for free. West Cumbria Carers were also invited to the Nuclear Institute Dinner, which takes place at Energus every year. The NI always adopt our chosen charity and fundraising on this night raised £3000!!
Energus staff had also arranged a Christmas jumper day, cake sales and donated in the money boxes scattered around the building to go towards our last cheque going to West Cumbria Carers of £773.00

We have really enjoyed working so closely with West Cumbria Carers and will continue to do so! We encourage other companies and the public to support this fantastic little charity as they work the do is amazing!

Our new 2019/2020 company charity is Give us a Break 2010. We are thrilled to be working in partnership with them this year to help them raise money.
